November 9th Road Trip
An interesting night to say the least.
What started out as going to a party in chilliwack turned out to be a small road trip for 5 people crammed into a little toyota corolla.
Even though space in the car was limited, it was still fun to go out for a relatively long drive. It is estimated that about 300 K was put onto the car that night.

1-4: Various Local stops picking up people and 'supplies' :)
5: In Maple Ridge, a few stops. Pick up Angela and Matt #2. Attempt to get more 'supplies' then supper stop at Subway. Finally head out of Maple Ridge with only a vague idea of where were going.
6: Tank almost empty. Fill up in Mission at 57.9/L, relatively cheap.
Erica decides to become a gambler, buying a lottery ticket. Taking 5 minutes to 'play the game' outlined on the card, she breaks even, everyone in the back seat is hyper because of this.

7: Stop in Chilliwack for doughnuts! Good ol' Tim Hortons saves the day with a 45 pack of Timbits. The gamblers dwell on their newfound hobby and pick up more lottery tickets to play. Yet more hyperness in the back seat as they take even more time to 'play' them. Fairly short stop, just enough to figure out which basic direction we'll be heading in from there. We decide to head back over the river and head north.
8: Making our way up North, passing through Agassiz and Kent, we head up Hemlock Valley. Seeing a sign for a ski resort, we figure there'll be good stargazing up there. So up we go. A little ways up we hit a gravel road. Sliding around as if the ground was a washboard, we make very slow progress up the very windy road. Finally coming to a clearing, we stop and stare at the stars. Breaking out the spits, we look up into the night sky for a while. With no city lights nearby, and no moon, the stars are out in the millions. Sheer fluke we hit a night with no clouds and no moon! After a few unsuccesful attempts at taking 15 second pictures of the starry night, and getting rather chilled, we pack into the car and head back down to the lougheed highway.
9-10: Calling it a night, we decide to start our trip home. People falling asleep in the back of the car as there isn't very much to do but look at the scenery, which is somewhat limited because of the lack of light. Total Round Trip Timeline: about 7 hours.
Great Evening of fun, although cramped.
