Good times, and not so good times. You'll hear about the good times later once I've had time to get some pictures in a some stuff written up, just got in about an hour ago.
As for the bad times. Someone didn't learn from the first mistake. We have yet another entry from an anonymous person. This time it's some sketches. Tell me who you are at
Doug and identify the sketches so I can enter you properly into the contest. Did get in a few entries while I was away, and I will hopefully get them up tomorrow night. Very busy next few days as I catch up with everyone while I was gone and 3 days of 9-5 work ahead of me before the new semester starts on the 2nd. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Sunday December 22, 2002. 22:42

Got another entry in the contest last night. One small problem. I have no clue who submitted it. To the person who submitted the entry last night, please upload your contact information. I will not post the image so there is some way you can identify that it is yours and so other people can't take credit for your work.

Wow, this site is a magnet for crappy drawings. Here's a couple from our own lovely Sean! Looks like they should be driving the car drawn this morning by Trae. heh heh. These must have taken a whole 5 minutes to draw. What talent! I sure as hell hope your DJ skills have higher standards than your drawing skills.

What a neglected site. Damn school work. Oh well. Nothing has happened on the site for the past couple weeks, which sucks. But I will give you an update. My P4 is being a bastard. I think there is something seriously wrong with my video card. Which means my main gaming machine is down. It works, but that's about the extent of it. Fortunately I still have my guest games machine until I get my P4 happy again. Yeah, I'm a bit busy.
Thursday September 5, 2002. 11:22
Crap, did I ever screw up!
Okay, the forum posts are still intact, but almost all of the accounts are not. I tried making a copy of the forum to work on, and I started to clear it to start from scratch, but turns out it was also pointing to the same database as the regular forum. I'm very glad i checked on this after only deleting a few accounts. Basically, I have recovered what I can, including how many posts a person had made. (by manually counting how the posts in all the threads, I'm glad the db isn't that big) Anyways, I will consider this a way of removing dormant accounts, although next time I remove dormant accounts, I do plan to at least give some notice, heh heh. And for those of you whose accounts were affected, I will be sending you a temporary password, I recommend you change this password ASAP. To the others, everything will be the same. FYI: 2 accounts have been removed for dormancy, 3 accounts had to be recreated.
Thursday September 5, 2002. 10:50
Well then, this update should have been here a long time ago. I have gotten confirmation that the new router (a P2 - 333) has improved ping levels for UT. Of course you still won't get as low as the 15 ping you can get internally, but it is much improved from the old router. Once again, to play UT on the dedicated server, simply point your UT program to battle.dougtheslug.ca. Also, I intend to soon create a new section for online gaming, which will include Stacraft, Warcraft3 and UT sections.

This is just going too far. Telus is having yet more problems. Luckily this isn't really affecting anyone externally, but it has prevented me from doing any updates to the website. Basically, it's some stupid little quirk in Telus subsystems that prevented me from connecting to the webserver locally, and so I was unable to do any site updates. I have bypassed this problem, but the solution isn't as good a setup as it was before. Oh well, nothing I can do.
Sunday August 18, 2002. 4:13
Okay, back up. Took a little longer than expected, but really, nothing ever goes smooth with windows. A few problems with machines not getting new leases and using their old IP's. Don't ask me how or why. Also, aside from forgetting to install a couple things like VNC and the Dynamic Update Client for no-ip, the new router is up and running and all services should be running properly. If you have any problems connecting to any of the services, give me a shout at
Doug
Sunday August 18, 2002. 1:51
Well, I believe I have the new router up and ready to go. All services that run behind the router will be down during the switch. (Forum, UT, Chat, Bnet...) Also, there will be some configuring required after I have put the new router into place as there are certain things I cannot do until it is connected to the actual network. Luckily I'm doing this in the middle of the night so hopefully no one will be affected.

Well, time for an update.
The new 1.2 Ghz machine is in place. I have successfully set it up as dual boot WinXP and RedHat Linux! Woohoo!
I finally have a Linux Production machine.
Next task is the new router, which will be the machine which was just replaced, a PII-333. This will hopefully deal with some of the Lag issues that we've been encountering with the various games we play.

Massive Downtime, All Services!
Construction of a nearby road caused a power failure. Out for 4-6 hours.
On thing to note, it took a long time to bring things back up, and while things came up, some weird things went on. A few machines decided to change their IP addys out of the blue! (one took ip addy 192.168.0.242 which is out of the 16-200 scope i set in the router! go figure)
Anyways, everything _should_ be back up. I ask that you please check as many services as possible to make sure they came back up properly, and notify me at

Well then, I hope none of you used anything more than Web and Mail last night. Due to the power cuts happening last night, I left all but one machine off while I was at work. Power seems to be back, Hydro was fixing a bad line, so all the services should be back up. I will be working on the network when I wake up, as I will be going to sleep now.
Monday Jun 10, 2002. 17:14
Well, I hope Telus has come up for good, although it took a power outage here to bring the net back up. And even then I had some problems getting proper IP addy's. Anyways, appears to be up, and because of this, I was able to test my theory with the Linux box, and it is good to go. By the looks of it, that box has too much interactive stuff to do with the net, and it wasn't functioning properly without it. So the UT server is back up, along with the Forum. Remember if you want to Beta Test the Forum, give
Doug an e-mail to be added to the list. That's all for now, don't have much time with these 12 hour shifts.
Sunday Jun 9, 2002. 14:58
Something has happened to the linux machine, and I don't know what's going on. It has become really slow with everything it does. I have a couple theories, unfortunately, I can't test one, and the other can only ever be speculation. The first one, I cannot test because the net is down. (We can all thank Telus for this) The second one, well, I'll give some background and you might come to the same conclusion. Yesterday there was a massive power fluctuation. All the lights dimmed massively, all the fans made weird noises, and I noticed a couple glitches when it happened. Now this is no normal brownout. It was enough to reboot my hubs! Yes, my hubs rebooted. Everything lost connection to everything else for a few seconds while the hub came back up. So my second theory is that this power fluctuation has done something to the hardware in my linux box (hopefully not permanent, that would suck). So when the net comes back up, I will reboot all my machines (that takes a while) and see how the response is on everything. If that doesn't work, I will be re-setting up the linux box. Joy!
Sunday Jun 9, 2002. 12:58
More damn problems from Telus. Does anyone think they're ever going to get this problem fixed? I'm getting pretty pissed off.
Saturday Jun 8, 2002. 14:01
I need 'beta testers'. I am releasing my Linux box onto the DougTheSlug.ca network as a Beta machine, which means I won't be doing any work on it and bringing it down until the beta test period is over.
There are 2 services being brought online with this machine:
A) Unreal Tournament Dedicated server. Just point your Unreal Tournament program to battle.DougTheSlug.ca and you will automatically join the game. Bots will come in for a minimum of 4 Players. They are set to Average Skill and have Auto-Adjust, meaning if you are creaming them, they will improve. Anyone and Everyone with this program are encouraged to try out the server. Also, just remember, if you're looking for other players to play against, stick around for bit to see if someone else joins, otherwise nobody will ever see anyone online if everyone just pops their head in for 2 seconds.
B) Forum and other Web Posting Services for the DougTheSlug.ca Website. The service I am trying to put up is meant to be a replacement for the IRC server. Basically removing the requirement of needing a client to connect. This one (for now), you will need a specific link to connect to it, so send me an e-mail at
Doug and I will let you know if you have been approved onto the beta testers list. Chances are if you ask, you will be accepted, but I don't want too many people on at the start.
Saturday Jun 8, 2002. 13:46
Sorry about the delay, Telus was having problems. Anyways...
Trae's Column, week 6
Enjoy!
Monday Jun 3, 2002. 17:32
A lot of things happening behind the scenes. The Unreal Tournament dedicated server is up, but that machine is still being put together. So I can't guarantee that it will be up all the time. When I do the 'official' release of that machine onto the network, I will give more details. Currently, the bnetd move from win32 to Linux is being held back by version problems. Due to a rather large bug in the win32 port of bnetd (called bnetW), I am trying to find the latest version of bnetd for Linux. (my current bnetd supports upto v1.08 of Starcraft, I need 1.09)
Also in the making is the themes section, nearing completion, you will be able to see the computers which make up the DougTheSlug.ca network. Some might be surprised as to what they see.p
And as a last note, Telus' services have resumed normal operation, so hopefully no more downtime.

Trae's weekly
column.
Week 5
Sunday May 26, 2002. 2:20
Well, you can't read this now, because my net has been down for about 2 days solid. A whole pile of BS from Telus. Whatever, they better get my net back soon, I'm already severely pissed off with their service through this 'network upgrade'. Anyways, I have picked a theme for my computer network here, and it is a StarCraft theme. Time is limited though as I try to get my linux box online and getting some services onto it. It will, once setup, hopefully host BattleNet, Unreal Tourney Dedicated server, Webcam host machine, website forum/chat and a MUX/MUSH/MUD style telnet-BattleTech game! Woohoo! Unfortunately, with all the down time with my net, I'm having trouble installing since I need to get all the software (OS and programs off of the net). Hope to have the theme section made and put up, but this section will be a fair amount of work most likely.
That's all for now.

Week 4 of Trae's Weekly column!
Wednesday May 22, 2002. 19:01
Geez, I was panicking all day. This morning, this server froze and when rebooted, couldn't locate the hard drives. Not a pretty sight. After some investigation after work though, it turns out there was a piece of metal free floating inside the unit, which was causing some sort of short which in turn caused the hard drives to be unreadable. Luckily, this piece has been put back into place, and the server appears to be running normally.
Phew!

Floor Hockey at Scout Hall
The game was rough and tough, with some huge hits and wicked goals. The teams were Ken, Sean, James and Kyle on Team Hallway vs. Fraser, Martin, Joe and David, Team Door. Fraser, with his shield and wrap around technique, spent most of the night showing the opposing team his ass. Scoring was frequent, and Team Door leapt to an early 12-3 lead. It was at this point that the ball was cut in half. Sean went to get a new ball, and proceeded to back his parent's CRV into a metal pole. No damage, whew! Strong play by James and good goaltending by Kyle brought the scores close to 36-34 still in favor of Team Door and the teams took another break. Play was rough but fun. Joe locked Ken in the equipment closest, and Ken hip-checked Martin through a door. David was the all-star for the game, getting about a third of his teams goals and stopping even more when he played net. With the score 46-45 in favor of Team Hallway, Team Hallway blew the game by putting Sean 'the klutz' in net. Final score, Team Door 50, Team Hallway 47.

Doug and the Slugs. No, not me or this site. The Band.
Yes, they exist, but are unrelated to us. They are playing at a local pub, and I thought it was kind of a funny coincidence. Check out where they're

I have heard them on the radio, and they aren't too shabby, but I'm not going.

Exams. Yes, Exams are upon me. I have one exam this thursday and one exam next thursday. So chances are you probably won't see much in the early parts of these 2 weeks since I should be studying. Also, hopefully I'll have an announcement from one of our Staff, Trae, later in the week. It is still in the works, so keep posted. Her exams end on thursday, so there will be no work done on it until then.

Okay, lets get you people out of the dark. I have completely neglected the site for almost a week now. Firstly, I have been able to get 2 more machines going in here, that is the main reason I have not done anything on the site. One of these machines is now my Mac Production machine, and I have transferred all website control from my parents machine to this one. So basically I waited until the transfer to the new Production machine was complete until I went back to the site.

Thursday Feb 28, 2002. 11:22
Update.
My Server is not happy right now. A little over a week ago, it's built in video card went, and I have no way of replacing the video card. I have spent the past week trying to get everything off of this computer. But that can be difficult if you cannot see what's happening on the computer. If you don't understand what's going on, take your computer, unplug your monitor. Permanently. Now you know what i'm dealing with. Yeah. So I've got another machine which I'm setting up to take over the serving duties. Unfortunately a Hard Drive swap is impossible since the new hardware has SCSI hard drive interfaces, which will hopefully mean faster serving, since the SCSI HD's will be able to respond and send data at a faster rate. Hope to have it up soon and back to getting material up on the site.

Yet more crap from Telus.
I have noticed a lot of problems regarding DougTheSlug e-mail. I am trying to narrow down what exactly the problem is, whether it has to do with Telus blocking more ports, or their smtp server blocking non-Telus e-mail addresses, or even if this has to do with the port mapping that got setup last night.
Basically what I've noticed is e-mails dissappearing into the ether. My client claims the e-mail was sent, but the destination does not receive it. So please know this if you have and use a DougTheSlug or no-ip e-mail address
Saturday Feb 9, 2002. 19:32
Those bastards at Telus have decided to block port 80, which means that website access was most likely down, for almost everyone. Luckily, this has been bypassed, but with one small hitch. Doug.no-ip.com will no longer work. If you don't know anything about ports, just stick to DougTheSlug.ca. If you do know about ports, then you can still use doug.no-ip.com:134 as backup.
BTW, site facelift phase 1 is almost complete and almost ready to bring up. Along with this will be some new sections and some material which have been waiting for the facelift.

I have gotten an IRC Server up. There are a few hitches right now, which I plan to have fixed in the very bear future.
1. Clients right now would have to be downloaded and installed to be able to chat. Solution: I am working on getting a java client for the site.
2. The only way to connect right now is by setting the server name to Battle.DougTheSlug.ca. Solution: I have put in a request to have IRC.DougTheSlug.ca be for IRC.
On another note, DougTheSlug.ca appears to be down, due to the DNS being down at farmboy's place. This may explain why people might not have been able to connect at this time using DougTheSlug.ca. I will take this time to remind people yet again that Doug.no-ip.com may work when Dougtheslug.ca doesn't. And yes, doug.no-ip.com is working right now.

Damn, I Hate Windows.
Turns out, the only thing preventing the 166 router from working was because it was behind another windows router. Stupid. When connected directly to Telus, it setup just fine.
So anyways, the 166 Router is up and running. Tomorrow, I will work on getting the BattleNet server running. I also have a lot of rewiring and assembling of computers to do now that everything is running properly.
Check back tomorrow for updates on this.
Wednesday Jan 9, 2002. 17:19
Wow, Telus just doesn't stop.
Today I got an e-mail from telus that completely screwed up my mail portion of my server. I have no idea what it was, but it looked wierd in the logs, and I couldn't download my e-mail using POP3 nor read it using web.mail. It caused the serevr to hang when I tried accessing the e-mail.
The only way I could get rid of this derelict message was delete my account and put a new account back for me. GRRRR! Telus Bastards.

When it came time to test my server, to see if it could stay up while I was away, it passed with flying colours. Everything was running smoothly inside that machine.
One small hitch.
Those bastards at Telus dropped the net for all my computers at around 6:30 friday evening.
My server was perfectly fine and those bastrds screwed it all up.
Anyways, after restarting the 3 machines which are connected directly to Telus, everything is back up and running.
Tonight, I am working from 9-3 and am working the same shift for the 2 nights following. School has started up again, so I may not have much time to work on things until Tuesday, a day I don't have any lectures.
See you soon.
Friday Jan 4, 2002. 01:31
Well, my techie is down for the count right now. Being on call at his job has sucked him dry. Unfortunately, he's the one I need to look at my new router. I have it running except for one stupid little detail, which appears to be a Microsoft 'Special Feature'.
Anyways, I am out of town for 3 days. Leaving midday tomorrow and returning sunday evening in time for my shift on the 6th at Vancity.
I will be going to Castlegar for Services for my Grandmother.
This will be a test for the server and Telus. Can my server stay up for 3 days? Can Telus keep a constant net connection for 3 days? Right now, the latter has more probability of happening. Ever since I got rid of the Mac Router, the server hardly crashes and the only reason it ever goes offline is when Telus decides to drop all net requiring the restarting of all computers.
On a happier note, we shall wish Matt good luck with his new co-op job in Nelson. He is suuposedly leaving later this morning for 8 months. I fully expect to hear from him when he gets online in Nelson to let us know how he's doing.
I have been doing some testing with Trae on the bnetd server to get all the kinks out before I make it publically accessible. This of course is pending the 166 router going up, and port mapping enabled to allow connections.
There are a lot of unfinished things right now with these services, and will be working as best as possible when I get back to get the following things fixed/up/running:
- Poker Night Episode 4
- R/C Car videos
- Router
- Bnetd Server
- IRC Server
...plus other smaller items...
Thursday Jan 3, 2002. 01:29
Wow, is my room a mess!
Computer parts all over.
But what is going to happen with all this mess?
It's actually going to do something productive. With the aid of another computer, a P166, of which I was able to locate 128M of EDO ram to put in it, is being setup with Win2000 Server to be a dedicated router!
Behind this dedicated router, I plan to set up the Pro180 for dedicated PC services. What will these services be you might ask?
1. Battle.Net server for multiplayer gaming without the need of blizzards servers
2. IRC Server
3. Unreal Tourney Dedicated Server
The main one will be the bnetd server. For the purpose of playing Blizzard games in TCP/IP without having to worry about serial verification. If you have any ideas for any more services, let me know.
Once I do start getting more services up and running, I will make a section on this site with instructions on how to use the various new services. (ie: need a starcraft hack to edit starcraft to select a non-default battlenet server such as europe or asia)

That Gift has given me it's last bit. Wiped the drive and started from scratch. This time with Win2000 Server. Why the change in OS?
1. WinME was pissing me off
2. Win2000 Server would allow me to use it as a router with DHCP. (yay)
So the P4 is my new router. Not exactly what I wanted, but a much better setup. Hopefully with this, the server won't keep crashing as it is no longer acting as router for all of my computers!
Again, a thanks to Farmboy for helping me with the Win2000 Setup. I had tried everything from Norton to get the virus, but the virus also hit Norton, rendering it almost useless at times. I fought that virus for at least 10 hours, and never completely eradicated it, it always lingered in a file or 2, and sometimes hitting a file count of a few hundred.
Now I'm touching up and will soon be reinstalling everything. Long task.

Router Update!
I have made some advances with my router, and can now get it working behind my current router for testing. Now I am fighting Telus to get it to work directly with them and not behind my current router. Hopefully this will be solved soon and reliability will go way up!
Thursday Dec 13, 2001. 23:49
Update:
I am now making my own attempts at Linux with the setup of a new router. Farmboy has some people working on the 486 router, but they are very busy and have limited time to work with it. So I am taking my Pro180 and making it a linux box. Wish me luck.
IRC is as good as down, it's up from time to time, but for the most part, it is down. I am running the IRC server on a machine behind the router/server, but that machine isn't always up either.
As for working on these issues:
Priority is always getting any material or info up into the news (of which I haven't recieved any submissions for a while, get some pics/stories/rants/whatevers in and I'll get them up)
Then comes getting the new router up and running. Once I finally get a new working router, there will be some downtime as I will have to do some reconfiguring of registrations with telus to allow for the different setup. Hopefully downtime will be minimal.
Lastly will be the setup of secondary services like the IRC. Since I have dropped ICQ, i have had less contact with people, although that hasn't really affected the runnings of things, which is good. Aside though, I would like to get to this item sooner rather than later.

I still hate PC's!
I finally have the P 200 online, but I am still fighting windows 'features'.
Currently still installing and making the final updates. Hope to see you on the IRC soon!
I am also awaiting the completion of my new router, which has apparently hit a speed bump. Skye_the_Farmboy has informed me that the linux geek he has gotten to work on it said to restart it from scratch and that the current setup that was being tried wasn't going to work. Bummer!
Also hope to have a new episode of Poker Night created soon and put up for you.
Tuesday Dec 4, 2001. 14:49
I hate PC's!
Duh
With the combination of exam prep and Windows 'features', my P 200 will be offline for a while. The IRC server is up, but if you are having any problems, I will be unable to help you until I get my P 200 running.
My P 200 is my productivity computer, and without it, I am unable to do basic tasks I have assigned to it like acting as my IRC client, checking my Doug E-mail and so on. I could do these things from my Mac 225 on a temporary basis, but if I actually have any time to do stuff on my network, it will be spent getting my P 200 back online and running.
And no, I'm not cluttering my P4 1.5 with these things for only a temporary basis, I can live without until I get the P 200 back online.
See you when I get my P 200 back online.
Monday Dec 3, 2001. 22:21
Reliability?
The router is becoming more flaky than ever. I request your patience if the server ever is down. Because I run all my services (Routing, Web, Mail, FTP) from one machine, which will now include IRC, the machine is quite overloaded and the router has a tendency to go down on a rather annoying regular basis.
Our Tech Support, Skye_the_Farmboy is working on a new solution for a router. I have done some rewiring here at my place so as soon as the new routing machine is ready, I will be able to plug it in and get the new solution running.
The main advantage of this will be that the server will be on a separate machine from the router and it won't go down every time the router does so, and therefore, the server should be much more reliable.

Update!
I am ridding myself of a devil under the disguise of 'ICQ'. After deciding to do a overhaul on C drive in my P 200, I have decided to not reinstall ICQ. Personally, this is almost a triumph for me. I've been wanting to get rid of the horrible, unstable, unreliable program for quite a while now.
As a [better] replacement to ICQ, I will be reinstating my IRC server. Connection to an IRC server is simple. If you do not know where to get a client (mIRC or IRCle) just e-mail me and I will help you get on.

I have another toy!
A WebCam!
I am trying to get it to work on my fish tank, but I am having problems with reflections with glass and water. Right now it's aimed at wherever it was last placed. Hopefully soon, it will be somewhere at least mildly entertaining :)
Check it out
Here!

It appears as if we've been able to fix DougTheSlug.ca!
Now we wait for the test to see if it will 'survive' an IP change, and whether it will do it quickly
Remember, if DougTheSlug.ca is down, Doug.no-ip.Com may work.
Tuesday Oct 23, 2001. 9:35
Use Doug.no-ip.Com instead of DougTheSlug.ca
DougTheSlug.ca will unfortunately be down until further notice.
Just another friendly reminder that if at any time DougTheSlug.ca is down (ie: during this time period) Doug.no-ip.Com may be working.
Those Bastards at Telus have found a way to block my hostname, so until I find a new place to host my DNS, DougTheSlug.ca will be screwed, while Doug.no-ip.Com remains untouched.

Why is DougTheSlug.ca down when the website is actually up?
A: DougTheSlug.ca isn't 100% reliable.
If DougTheSlug.ca does not work, you can still try to use Doug.no-ip.Com
If you want, here's the
Technical Mumbo Jumbo on why DougTheSlug.ca isn't 100% reliable.
I will hopefully soon have a solution for this and make DougTheSlug.ca more reliable
Tuesday Oct 16, 2001. 16:41
DougTheSlug.ca is UP and running!
Again, I will continue to use Doug.no-ip.com as a backup
Sunday Oct 14, 2001. 17:07
www.DougTheSlug.ca
Last night I purchased this domain!!!!
This site will soon be available from that domain name
I will put an item in the news when www.DougTheSlug.ca is useable as I have to set it up
I will continue to allow Doug.no-ip.Com to access this page, but all references on this site will be changed to www.DougTheSlug.ca when I get the DN server up and running

Flying Monitors!
Yes, you heard right! Monitors have flown!
It is a damn high
Bridge. You can barely make out Matt in the bottom of the picture.
Here is a
Close Up of what remains of the monitor. It has been a week or 2 since it's inaugural flight, so someone has obviously done a little cleanup.
For perspective, here is a
Zoom Out from above on the bridge.
It is a shame we weren't able to get pictures of the monitor earlier before someone cleaned some of it up. It landed screen down, made a huge blasting noise and left casing all over.

Photo Albums Section added. All Pictures assembled in 'Photo Album' format will be posted here in archive format. If there is no 'Photo Album' formatting for an article, you will need to search for that particular article in the old news to find corresponding photos and images.

| Hot Tub! |
Last Tuesday Matt had a Hot Tub Party. Had a few people over and had some fun. Pics from this can be viewed in this Photo Album. Also, had some fun with the Camera and took a 10 second exposure to get this. All in all, a good mellow night. We should do this more often (hint hint matt...)

| The Catapult! |
The Catapult! In the spring/summer, we decided to make a Catapult. The initial supplies cost about $30 at the local Revy Hardware store. We lashed them together in a couple hours and came out with this. That is Ken standing beside the Catapult in both pictures.
Notice in the 2nd picture that one of the pieces is broken near the top. Some of the supplies we used weren't strong enough and we ended up busting a lot of wood over the course of the few times that we constructed it. After all said and done, we prabably spent a total of 50-60 dollars on supplies!
Results ranged from 30 feet to 100 feet depending on what we launched. Paintballs went the farthest, while things like pop cans went much less.
The project was abandoned when I got all cut up by a glass bottle when it misfired as I was loading it. A lot of blood dripping everywhere and a lot of band-aids. We still have the supplies if we feel like renewing the project, but no glass bottles.

Main Logo can be any size, but of course, if it's 6 pages in size, chances are it won't get picked. The mini version for the sidebar can be as high as it wants, but cannot be more than 140 pixels wide. Again, same thing as with the main one, keep size reasonable.
Plus, new ideas for a motto would be appreciated, maybe even incorporate it into the logo. The current motto was the result of 3 seconds of brainstorming on my part.

Today we see the dawn of a new Era. Well, not really, but this is the first day of the Brand Spanking New Doug.Slug.Com!
Exciting isn't it!
Okay, so you don't share my optimism.
Fine, shun me!
Check back here for more exciting news to come.
If there's no new exciting news, hopefully i'll at least post a Comic, like this
Picture.
