The DougTheSlug.ca Gaming network has gone through many changes since first coming online. Offering many different gaming options such as StarCraft, Unreal Tournament, QuakeWorld, Freelancer along with a variety of other smaller games. Current Networking conditions (basicaully due to a lack of decent dedicated servers) I will only be hosting one game type at a time. The exception of this will be a BattleNet Server that I hope to get back up. Currently the BattleNet server is down, but I hope to get a Debian box up soon and get a Bnet server online.
DougTheSlug.ca now has it's own clan. Contact Doug to find out more about the clan. The DougTheSlug clan is currently limiting entrance to DougTheSlug.ca community members. Clan Members must regularily participate in the DougTheSlug.ca community through the chat, the forum and through submissions of material to the site. You will be able to identify any DougTheSlug Clan member by a [dts] located in the nick. You may come across a clan member in any game, inclduing the following games on this page.

This is the game we are currently playing, using the Desert Combat Mod. We play online, as bandwidth is limited here, and a full public server would not be plausible. We may or may not have our [dts] clan tags on. We usually just play to have fun, and aren't 100% competitive.
One of the longest running services in the DougTheSlug.ca network, having held hundreds upon hundreds of games. The Bnet server is down indefinitely. We do not play enough starcraft anymore to warrant running our own server. You can find out more information about playing StarCraft in the DougTheSlug.ca community in the StarCraft Section.
Yet another one of the longer running games on the servers. Currently this game has been taken down due to dwindling usage. Homework, exams and work eating up too much time was preventing us from using it too much. While this service can easily be reinstated, it requires a bunch of people all at once to make it worthwhile, and that was hard to accomplish with everyones' schedules. If this service is put back up, chances are there will be an annoucement in the news. This service could also be put back up if I ever get another machine which can handle a dedicated server.
This is the game that is currently being served on the dedicated server machine. As of the time of writing though, the router is not configured to allow incoming connections from the outside onto the server. I am running some tests on the server to make sure it is up to par before I release it. Now, when I do release it to the public, I will most likely have it under password protection and get people to register with Doug to keep records and prevent cheating, which I have heard is fairly common on a lot of public servers out there. If you wish to play on the server, simply give Doug a shout and you can get hooked up.
