Sean Lambert has been a die hard trance fanatic since 1999, ever since he accidentally downloaded a Paul Oakenfold Essential mix onto his computer during his first year of university. Trance then became a passion following yet another accidental download, this time it was Tiesto's Magik 6.

Following that Sean built up an enormous collection of trance sets, and in 2001 he began buying records. Otis Music, his favorite used record store, saw over $1500 in business from Sean in just one year! Sean skipped meals and skimped on luxuries in order to afford the vinyl masterpieces.

Sean began to act as in house expert on trance at Vinyl Records in 2005, the same year he took over as host of Life@140 BPMs, every friday night on CJSF 90.1 FM from 10pm - 3am.

Sean began with a pair of amps, a couple sets of speakers, a good computer for recording demos, and a cheap Numark Mixer to compliment his Tech 12 Mk II tables. Recently he bought a Allen & Heath Xone 62 and a Pioneer CDJ 800. He can use cd players, although he is not an expert because he doesn't yet have sufficient practice.

Sean has several people to thank for what he has so far:

Sean is interested in improvng himself as a dj and in developing a marathon set with a DJ partner using his collection and playing on the spot requests. In 2004 he began producing under several guises: for trance he continues to be Aqvayak, for techno he is Nova Industry and together with Vlado they are Dunav. He will play for free or for very little money: he just likes to play. He got his name after his cousin showed him a picture of his dog from really far away and told him it was actually a Russian Aqua Yak. After several YEARS, Sean finally realized his foolishness and took the name as a reminder of the funny incident.
